Each Life That Touches Ours For Good

Writing my last post helped me remember something nice that happened today during the luncheon with Sister Rogers.

When all the invited (three students, faculty, staff, and administration) had arrived at the conference room on the 10th floor and we all sat down, a blessing on the food was pronounced, and then Craig Nelson asked that we all introduce ourselves.

The two other students that were with me and I were the first ones to introduce ourselves to our guest of honor, then the faculty, staff, and administration introduced themselves, and some of them would ask Sister Rogers a question. My former boss, Renae Richards, introduced herself when her turn came, and before she asked her question, she publicly praised me for the almost two years I work for her.

It felt really good to be recognized like that, especially in front of someone who is a special guest......it sure made me feel good!

You were an amazing employee and your hard work was invaluable. It was a tough decision to make to move you, but we felt it would help the admissions office and you in learning new job skills. You are an amazing person and friend. Thanks for not hating me.
