What Happens in Vegas.....

Holliday Inn 1:30 in the morning....

What happens when you have a dear relative that you haven't seen since 2004, and such relative comes several thousand miles to see you, but have work all day every day and don't see your beloved relative as much as you would like? It's simple, you go to Vegas.

My grandma came from Brazil almost a month ago, and my mom was feeling depressed because she could never spend time with her mom, so on Friday, while I was getting ready to go to an activity with my single's ward (I was at WalMart buying tortilla chips), when my mom called and said she wanted to kidnap grandma and take her to Vegas and see the lights (by then it was 5:30 in the evening).

To make a long story short, I dropped the chips at the church for the activity, ran home as mom got home and we told grandma we were going for a ride and while grandma showered my mom packed her things and put them in the trunk of the car and we drove away (she was expecting us to show her a canyon somewhere), but she got the feeling we were hiding something from her. When we were around Spanish Fork she asked again were we were going and we finally told her the truth and her first reaction was to say in an almost panicked tone: "how can this be?" and "you people are killing me!" Couple of minutes later she was calmer and actually enjoyed the idea, except for the long time it took to get there.

Food Break

It was an awesome trip, but right now I am dead tired and don't want to write anymore. Left the next day at noon and got home at 8:30. Enjoy some picturas.

zzzzzz.....

Sounds like a ton of fun!! Aren't you glad that I couldn't go to the church activity. :D I'm glad you are able to spend the time with your grandmother. Plus, you should smile more, you have a very nice smile :D

Why the pictures are in black and white?

I set up my cell phone to take pictures in black and white because it makes the picture more dramatic.....and smiling make me look fat!.....
